Description: In this After Effects tutorial, I'll show you how the band Why Don't We created the emoji text boxes in their newest music video "These Girls". Why Don't We is a popular boy band that is starting to make a shake in the music scene, thanks to their hip pop music and long time collaborator Logan Paul. Recently their music videos have taken a drastic step forward with new effects and high production value. Here is a quick way you can create their emoji text boxes, track them to a subject, and add effects. This method can also be used to create the look of text messages popping out of a phone. An Edgar Wright-ish way of showing someone's text messages. No plugins are required. KEYS TO SUCCESS: • Create your text box using shape layers • Use the Scale parameter keyframes to grow the text into the scene. • Turn on the motion blur to create a blur without having to add a Fast Blur effect.
